Students of all ages and abilities take part in the many winter sports activities offered by Ignite. Students not only enjoy a great ski day, but also feel the pride and satisfaction of accomplishment, and acquire an alliance with fellow athletes and volunteers.
Instructional programs are available in adaptive alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. This includes downhill sit-skiing (both bi-skis and mono-skis) and pull cross-country skiing. Other adaptive equipment is also available.
Snowsport lessons run from January through March, Thursdays to Sundays. We charge a daily fee for our services that includes a lesson, lift ticket and trained instructor. All lessons are private and may include more than one instructor based on the students’ needs.
Ignite makes it a priority to keep programs affordable to qualified individuals. A scholarship fund has been created so we can accommodate participants from all income levels. To apply for a scholarship please Create a Student Account first at this link (Create a Student Account) and follow the prompts for Scholarship.
